Our Policies

Late Arrival, Appointment Cancellation, and No Show Policies

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY: If a patient is 15 minutes late or more for an appointment, the appointment needs to be rescheduled. This is to ensure that patients who arrive for eye exams on time do not wait longer than necessary and it ensures that everyone receives quality and timely care. All patients are encouraged to arrive at the office at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment to register and complete any required paperwork.

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY: Appointments that are not canceled by one (1) business day prior to your scheduled appointment will be subject to a $50 fee.

There is no charge for rescheduling or canceling an appointment if Hill Opticians is notified 24 hours prior to your appointment. Fees may be waived due to family or health emergencies at the office's discretion.

NO SHOW POLICY: Any patient who fails to show for their scheduled appointment will be subject to a $50 fee.

The fee is charged to the patient, not your insurance company, and is due before the patient's next office visit.

As a courtesy, we make reminder calls or emails for appointments. If you do not receive a reminder call, message, or email, the above policy remains in effect.

Online Glasses Policy

We are happy to adjust or repair your online glasses for a $50 fee.

Our retail locations have skilled opticians on staff who can fit your Warby Parker glasses to perfection with a quick professional adjustment. If you’re not in the area, most optical shops will make adjustments for free or a small fee. We are happy to reimburse you the cost of one adjustment (up to $50) within 30 days of purchase.
